Happy Caramel Day

Today is Caramel Day !
To tell you the truth, I wasn’t even aware there is a Caramel Day. But now that I know…
I feel like I should celebrate it 🙂

Caramel has always been an indulgence to me. A delicious decadent treat !
Traditionally, in France, we offer to each other some salted caramel candies for Christmas. They are made out of sugar and salted butter, that’s it !

There is so much more we can do with caramel though.
Here are some example to make you crave it :

This Coconut Caramel is a great and delicious twist to our usual recipe. I like to add a little dash of salt for more flavour!

This Caramel Brownie is a terrific way to indulge! Doesn’t it look delicious?
The Bitterness of the dark chocolate perfectly balances out the Caramel sweetness.

This Chocolate and Salted Caramel pie is pretty and perfect.
You can make it the day before with no stress and serve it easily the next day, straight out of the fridge, impressing all your guests!

Speaking of impressive… This Caramel and Fig Layer Cake with chai spices will definitely do the trick too. It’s an original, gorgeous and tasty choice for a birthday cake!

And I will finish with the cutest Caramel Koala Macaroons EVER!
So pretty that if it wasn’t so delicious, I wouldn’t eat them… Or would I ?

Happy #CaramelDay !
Stay creative and have fun
